1. Removing the Insulating Tape

Before using Pulsewin for the first time, simply remove the insulating tape from the battery compartment. Upon activation, Pulsewin displays the room temperature after just one minute, providing users with valuable environmental insights.

Notes:

• The room temperature remains visible on the display even after the unit powers off.
• For optimal results, place Pulsewin on a level surface in a room-temperature environment, away from direct sunlight or air conditioning.

2. Switching between °C and °F

Pulsewin is preset to Celsius (°C) mode by default. However, users can effortlessly switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit scales to suit their preference.

Procedure:

1. While the room temperature is displayed, press and hold the START button.
2. Simultaneously, press and hold the ON/MEM button until the display reflects the desired temperature scale (with two confirmation beeps).

Notes:

• To revert to Celsius mode, simply repeat the process.
• Switching between temperature scales deletes all stored readings from memory.

Taking a Reading: Forehead Measurement Mode

Pulsewin's Forehead Measurement Mode provides users with oral-equivalent temperature readings, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Prior to measurement, ensure the probe lens is clean and undamaged, and the forehead is free from sweat, cosmetics, or scars.

Procedure:

1. Remove the probe lens cap.
2. Press the POWER button to activate Pulsewin. All indicators briefly appear on the display, followed by two confirmation beeps.
3. Position the probe lens 1 to 3 cm away from the center of the forehead.

Notes:

• Maintaining stillness during measurement is crucial for accurate results.
• After measurement, the display illuminates for five seconds, providing instant feedback.
• If the temperature exceeds 42.2°C (108.0°F) or falls below 34.0°C (93.2°F), "Hi" or "Lo" respectively, appears on the display.
